Elaine Galang Salangsang is the granddaughter of Dr. Joaquin Galang, the founder of the Galang Maternity & General Hospital and School of Nursing in Manila, Philippines. She was the youngest of ten children born to parents Arsenio Salangsang and Perla Galang, whom she adores as her heroes as she had witnessed them helping anybody who needed help. Her father was an Orchestra leader and Intelligence Officer for the US Army. Her mother was a woman of many talents – a law student, classical singer and who ran a cosmetology salon at her home while raising her ten children.
Elaine followed the footsteps of her mother and became a licensed cosmetologist and ran her own business since 1982. She also worked as the Marketing Director for a licensed insurance and securities agent for nine years. She currently has her own business, Elaine's sexy styles at Legacy Salons and Day Spa in Rockwall. Elaine currently resides in the city of East Tawakoni.
Juneil San Juan is Elaine’s sunshine and
who with his wife Emily have showered her with the blessings of three
beautiful, smart and athletic grandchildren Kayla, Elijah and Jasmine. Her life has also come full circle with her
partner in life, Randy Agee, owner of AG Cattle Ranch.
Elaine’s charity beneficiary is the Rotary Club of Cainta, Philippines. When she was on vacation in the Philippines in 2014, she personally witnessed the efforts of these men and women feed and nourished the physically challenged; guide and inspire the youth and protect the environment.
“When I was approached by Aida about this charity work, I had just written a letter to Unbound Charity for a child that I have been supporting through school since second grade. He is now finishing high school and I believe he can now work and support himself through higher studies. I am continuing my love for the needy through the Mrs. Philippines of North Texas Charity work and the Rotary Club of Cainta. Later, I would like to establish with my friends a non-profit organization whose main goal is to help foster children and battered women. I am, afterall, God’s servant”.
