Ginaliana (popularly known by her shortened name Gina) was born in Muntinlupa (Greater Manila), Philippines as the eldest girl to Mr. Cirilo and the late Mrs Juliata Viado. Although a close knit family, her father, four brothers and three sisters are geographically separated living in Texas, New Jersey, Qatar, Hong Kong, and United Kingdom. Gina was primarily raised by her grandmother who owned a prominent bakery which is still a landmark of the home town and brings nostalgia whenever she visits there.
Gina attended Muntilupa Elementary and Sacred Heart Schools for her primary and secondary education after which she enrolled at Philippines Women’s University where she completed Hotel and Restaurant Management curriculum and later earned a diploma in Bakery from the Bakery Institute of Philippines. Gina also completed Cora Dela Rosa Finishing School learning advance Office Management and Modeling.
Gina moved to Texas in 1982 when she married Dr. Mohan Seth,
an internationally acclaimed petroleum consultant. Both are blessed with a daughter, Miss Rohini Reanae Seth (Miss Teen Phils.: Texas-Oklahoma, 1998-99), a financial consultant and an enthusiastic supporter of various charity organizations in Dallas, Texas.
Gina’s professional career spanned over a number of different industries including hotels and restaurant, bakeries, pharmaceuticals, hardware stores, and others. Currently she is a Senior Beauty Consultant with Walgreen’s Pharmacy.
“My passion from my early years has
been to improve the quality of life of young children who are otherwise
talented and gifted but lack the ways and means to advance in the journey of
life. My dream is to help and guide such gifted kids, cultivate and instill in
them the joy and virtues of philanthropy, and take active part in their lives
such that later they themselves can pursue the dream I myself aspire to.”
Her theme and motto is to plant and nourish quality seeds which continue to multiply and eventually fill the world with nothing but quality. Gina is concerned over those who are most vulnerable: the elderly and the children. To this end, Gina has contributed to the lives of the elderly in India and poor children in Philippines and stay continually engaged with them and watch their growth and progress. To this end, her charity beneficiaries are Asha Dham (Udaipur, India) and the ABS-CBN Sagip Kapamilya (Philippines).
