(BB 163) is the child protection program of the ABS CBN Foundation. It started
in 1997 on Valentine’s Day as a gift of love to the Filipino children.
What began as a hotline and rescue operation has evolved into a truly holistic
system which includes therapy, after care and preventive programs.

"I grew up in one of the poorest slums in Iloilo City. In memory of my amazing parents they were blessed with nine (9) children and inspite of difficulties, sacrifices and struggles in life, all nine of us received a college degree and are serving the Lord. My dad always says GOD will provide a man of strong faith”. We did not know that we were poor then; our parents filled us with SO MUCH LOVE, provided, and protected us. As I look back, and think about other children surrounding us they do not have that, they don’t have a VOICE or any place to go to for safety. Supporting Bantay Bata – they will be able to continue with their services to provide resources for the children in Iloilo City.
Good luck to all the Lead fundraisers women with big hearts..."
